Earn Money With Your Web Site

Webmaster can earn money through their web site with associate, affiliate, and referral programs. You can also earn cash through banner exchanges. Here i will recommend some great programs which will add excellent content to your site.

You will want to base your choice of using various programs on how well they will blend with your site content. You may find yourself expanding your site to include content unrelated to your site just to promote other services and find that this is what is drawing traffic to your site. Associations with other companies serve to add content to your service and product and to provide variety to your visitors.

Explore the many affiliate programs available on the internet, but first educate yourself as to what to look for prior to joining. Some of the factors I take into consideration are:

• How do they track sales! If they rely on cookies and/or javascript to track sales, these can be very inaccurate. I've had offers to join programs and when i wrote to ask exactly how they tracked sales they could not give me an answer. This is very important to know!

• Do they provide marketing material and banners which are optimized for quick loading?

• Do they provide online stats or send via email?

• Are you given a site to link to? If the URL of your site contains a "?" search engines may not list your URL.

• Make sure they DO NOT allow promotion by means of spam!

• How reliable is their customer service? Research to find out what others have experienced with their service.

• How much do they pay and how often? Many programs have you wait until you have accumulated a certain amount prior to making any payments to you.
